When Nintendo releases the wii update that stops the trucha signed disc from working, will it also stop wii homebrew from working or being developed? The update is already released but its not working until they release a menu update.

It fixes the signing bug but it will fix it when they release the menu update which will probably be when Mario Kart Wii is released.

What would you need to make a custom firmware for the Wii?If the could make a homebrew channel it shouldn't be that hard right?

I just want to know if its hard or not you don't have to be an ass about it.

If you don't know the answer to that then obviously it's too hard for you...

Nice thread though... Seems a lot of people appreciate it...

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
