Heyo everybody, I've been looking around and searching for some time, and I've found a lot of conflicting answers regarding my question. I've been using my trusty ol' RCA cables for a while to hook up and play my Wii on a CRT. I'm planning on moving back to the dorms very soon and with me I am bringing a monitor that I plan on using for both my laptop and Wii. The monitor has a VGA and HDMI input, no other usable inputs.

Now, I'm turning to you guys to ask this: what is a good, reliable, high-quality adapter that I can use to connect my Wii to said monitor? I've heard about DragonPad and the Neoya Wii2HDMI, can anyone comment on these and offer advice?

Thanks y'all! :yaywii:

Sewell and Neoya are the best. Claimed to be 0.4ms of lag by Fizzi (of SmashBoards fame), though my engineering and A/V background is highly confused by the idea.
Regardless, those are the only known brands to work well. Others add significant lag. But good luck finding one.

@Skelletonike, Not a huge fan of Reddit. Moderation is utter trash and people give out bad advice (well, not all the time, but you get what I'm saying). Even to a point where you get banned from a subreddit regardless of following the rules (or post deleted).

@Skelletonike, Did u check your e-mail to see whether they messaged you about the ban reason?

Could be either your e-mail address being anonymous or temporary, or some other thing that I don't know of.

nvm, was banned 3 years ago
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
I asked why I was banned, never got a reply
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Well that was 3 years ago, shouldn't hurt to make a new account. Or just never bother.

I've blocked all the auto-ban bots so I shouldn't be auto-banned for no reason

i don't use reddit but do auto ban bots not need to be mod, which means they can see your posts regardless?
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
    not in other subs
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
basically they check if you're a member of other subreddits, you can be banned just for being in a sub they don't like, even though it is not against the rules
