Hardware wii freeze at system menu

I softmod my wii by following the tutorial in this forum which works great with no problem. Today, I am trying to setup a internet connection and my wii freeze. So i have to turn off my wii. I tired to go to the setup again and it freeze again. Sometimes it has black screen when scroll between different option settings...sometimes..it just freeze my wii..

So i changed my preloader setting to IOS 60 and is working fine..but it has the problem when use IOS 249..

did i do anything wrong? how can i fix it? My wii is 4.1U

If I'm not wrong, the problem is that the cIOS compatibility with the System Menu is broken since the rev8, but repaired again in the rev14 (install this one if you still wanna load backups from the Disc Channel). That's why it freezes.
