Hacking Wii Fit Meter reset

How can I reset my old Wii Fit Meter for my new Wii U? Could someone make a homebrew application for it?
EDIT: Nintendo will replace it I guess.

EDIT: Well it seems it only works if you have the OLD Wii U. Wtf Nintendo.

There is no technical reason it can't, but if it uses infrared I don't think homebrew libraries support that; it may well be easier to mod the game to boot directly to the reset tool (depending too on how it's implemented)

It'd probably just say it's not mine. Nintendo will replace it if you send it to them.

Any update on this? - I'm thinking of buying on to try out Wii Fit U
