Wii Fit and Fit Plus date and time problem

I have a USB HDD with WiiFlow. Trying to run Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus.
Both those games have trouble identifying the correct date and time on the console, claiming that my Calendar is wrong, which is not.

I have two Wii's side by side

Wii Fit on console 1 says that the date is 2009
Wii Fit on console 2 says that the date is correct but the time is off by 15 minutes or so

What could be causing this issue? If not the Calendar, what do they consult? Are there any other games asking the console what date and time iit is? How should I check and/or fix?

Maybe the clock battery on the Wii, if it exists, needs to be replaced?

All clock batteries have been replaced. The time is correct even when the Wiis remain unplugged for hours.

It has nothing to do with the hardware itself. Maybe a certain cIOS is needed?

OK new data found. Added a third Wii to the testing and ALL have totally different reported dates and times.

However, this only happens in Wiiflow. I tried USB Loader GX which works totally differently. First it forces me to SYNC with the Balance Board, (Wiiflow does not). And after that, the time is reported correctly.

So now what? Is there any setting in Wiiflow that I need to enable for it to work correctly?

Just chiming in that I am also encountering this issue with no apparent cause discovered yet. I am using an SD card with WiiFlow and all games that I play through WiiFlow have dates on the save files for the year 2158 despite my Wii being set correctly. I also launched a disc game using MinimaLauncher via the Homebrew Channel and that also had the same incorrect date on the save file.

I am new to this but diligently searching for a solution! I will post if I can figure anything out.
