i have a brand new dusty from closet nintendo wii and the firmware version is 1.0 how can i upgrade manually to 4.3? Please Help Thanks in advance

Just do a normal update. 4.3 was the last update.

Yes. Use the Letterbomb hack (recommended as it doesn't require an exploit game), or use any of the exploit games listed here.

In your case (looking at your signature) you'll click 4.3J. If the Wii is not Japanese, then use U (for North American) and E (for European).

Tbh, I'd keep that console on v1 as it's rare to have and a nice keep sake to own.
and get another Wii, as they are cheap to buy. That's just me though.

There's a list of games and which updates are on the disc here. It's German but you should be able to see if you have one of the 4.3 ones.
