So I'm fixing a faulty drive and it turns out that the only thing wrong with the drive is that it's missing a small but integral part.

It's the small circular plastic piece shown in the picture in green. Below it is the drive with that piece missing in red.

You can always buy a broken drive off of Ebay and take parts off of that... don't know of anywhere you can buy the parts alone.
