Hardware Wii controller speaker buzz

don't know if you ever resolved this problem, but i just opened the controller up and snipped the two wires going to the big speaker.

you don't get any sound or vibration but it means you can use it again.

Off topic, but has anyone else noticed how it only buzzes on HORROR games???????????

Identical issue I have with a compatible wiimote (japanese Shiro brand).
One of the title I've tested is Red Steel 2.
The issue is not present with original controller and same game.
In my case I think is a wiimote problem.
