Hmmmm... So is there any way at all to get Gamecube Games to work with Codes for the Wii Console? Thanks. Also A way to get Wii Backup to work with cheats?

There is probably some other non-homebrew way, but none that I know of. Try a google search. With the backups have you tried to just do it like how you would do it with a regular disc?

GC codes are not supported as of now, but will be in the future.

probly will get gc supports (not to much more work) soon its just a matter of accepting the gc games

I got the cheat in the end.

Coin modifier:

C23458B0 00000002
388003E7 9083000C
7C832378 00000000

The middle left line is the code to change the amounts. In the above, it's set to 999 (03E7).

The Wario Shake codes work great but the game now boots in black and white. If I boot it on my pal wii without the cheats it's colour.

It turned out my portable TV was rubbish. I plugged the Wii into my new telly downstairs and it booted up in colour with the cheats activated. It's still strange how my little bedroom portable tv plays the game in colour but once I boot up the game using Ocarina, it's B&W.

I tried to find cheats last night,but sure enough after I do my first memory dump with WIIRD the Wii rebooted,if I left WIIRD running it would get through a second search and didnt reboot but eventually it just locked up the game,it usually only takes about 3 searches for simple codes like infinite energy,but I think that it may be being stored in memory as 32 bit instead of 8 or 16....I got frustrated between the game locking up or rebooting...I may try again this weekend...I may need plenty of beer for patience though....LOL

I remember there was a fair bit of info on the other board about this, where Kenobi and Foxx found there was a certain area which crashed the game if dumped, also lots of graphics glitches.

using a different hook location might sort the glitching out, as currently it uses on VI which may have effect, if i use a wpad read hook it might sort this issue out. It could also be the handler needs some modification.

I will try to pick up this game and find whats happening.

I tried out a few Zelda codes, but think I did something wrong...

I did the Super ClawShot, all golden bugs, Always have bottle 1 with fairy, and Giants wallet (which didn't work)

Now, when I tried playing, alot of the sounds were messed up... the rupee sound (when you grab one) wasn't there at all! The horse call sounded really bad.

Was it me, or did I do something wrong?

codes on backups do work, iv tried the mario kart (PAL) code for infinte star use on my back up and it works perfectly.

i have this problem too. the sound is all messed up. the same thing happens if you load it through GeckoOS. you did nothing wrong, its just a bug.

Can't do that. Because cheats have to be made on the PC, you can't choose them when you boot up the game which is why you have to do it yourself.

i know that i just cant use the pc app, so im just taking what ever cheats someone has just cause im bored and want to cheat. i dont really want to change them or anything, also i wanted to see the structure of the gtc files in my txt editor, see if i can re-create in txt edit

do you mean what do i do with the xx in the code? you replace it with the id of the item you want eg:
1a0215ab 1a59xx19
would then change to
1a0215ab 1a59A119

where a1 is the item you want, the geko site of what ever has the ids of all the ltems, just look back a few posts for link to site,

if thats not what your asking then i probably cant help you.
