Using v0.4.5 build 78 (x86)

I have a problem with deleting games using Wii Backup Manager. I go to the Drive 1 tab where my Wii HD is mounted. I select (check the box) the games I want to delete, click the Remove drop down box, and choose Selected. The games are then deleted according to WBM. But the selectd wbfs files are not deleted from the hard drive. If I reload WBM the games are back in the list. I have had this problem with two different hard drives now. Is there a setting I am missing or is this a known issue with WBM?

Edit: I just attempted to clear out 91 files. 51 were removed and 40 remained. I checked file permissions and all files have the Archive permission, but nothing else. This behavior doesn't make much sense .

open your FAT32 partition in your computer and delete the files and folders manually.

I don't know if it's a known issue, but this program has not been updated for two years now.
I don't know if there will be a fix or a new version. the developer has not given sign of life and didn't provide the sources.

Even if abandoned, it is the most useful.
How can you transfer games without it ?

On an NTFS/FAT32 formatted drive, you can add/delete the .wbfs files yourself in the wbfs folder. Be sure to use the appropriate file structure or the backup loaders won't be able to pull the data from GameTDB. One file structure that works is
X:\wbfs\Game Name [GameID]\GameID.wbfs

Thankfully the transfer part of the program works flawlessly. Deleting manually isn't really an issue. I feel better knowing it isn't some setting I've missed or mistake I've made along the way to cause the behavior .

Found some fatal error in program...
Try reproduce:
Add some image-files (I add *.WBFS)
Go to "Options>Settings>Titles"
Switch on "Allow permament changes to Wii disc header"
Press OK
F2 on any item... change name of the game, press Enter
Remove all
Try to add this image again

PS Image now is damaged!
Because WBM write on wrong place from 00 address in header (erase first bytes) enstead x200000 address

PPS How to repair?:
Open in hex editor and edit first 7 bytes
4 bytes contain text "WBFS"
Than 1 byte contain x00
Than 2 bytes contain size of image (size in kilobites/128)
for example size of file is 2,867,200Kb
2867200/128=22400 (in hex its x5780) -

And after repair you will see next bytes:
57 42 46 53 00 57 80 00

PPS Before I found this error in WBM I "rename" near 300 images :(
Half part Im already repair manualy :((( shit

hi,
tom8258 here and i need help. the wii backup manager detectz the game on the disc but it dosent laod on usb loader gx. might apresiate help it screwed my disc

verify that you are using the correct path format.

Option > FAT32 / NTFS tab
Layout : Title_[ID]
Enable : store games in subfolders
enable : Automatically fix game path on partition mount

(you'll have to read the option to find the proper names, I don't remember them, but I think it's enough to understand what I mean).

I check situation with damaged WBFS headers... but on another PC all fine
May be its problem of ATOM CPU problem? May be some commands not work properly?

Can anybody check it on ATOM platform?

And check please one more thing on ATOM:
Choose some custom Visual style
go Options>Settings>Covers>Preferred region order... and what you see? All black in list enstead "Game default"?
