Just some quick questions!
tongue.gif

Do the created .wbfs files keep the update partion or is it removed?
huh.gif

I though it was removed, but on the "Partitions" column, it still says "UG"...
blink.gif

What's the average size of an update partition by the way?
rolleyes.gif

Is there any way to removed it from the .wbfs file after that?
unsure.gif

Thank you very much!

Just found out about this... One question though

On startup - Is there any way for the program to remember the last 'drive' & 'files/folder' that was last used, instead of having to do the 'Basic Usage' each time ???

I've only got one 'drive' I connect up to & I always place my ISO's in a particular folder.
It would be nice to start up 'Wii Backup Manager' & the Drive and File/Folder is already set up, & all I have to do then is select the ISO & Transfer

great tool for converting iso to wbfs, save space : )

of course there's more, but I need to read on.

Just wondering why the file size in WBFS drive is larger than the one transferred by WBFS Manager?
I tried Red Steel 2, WiiBackup is 3.16GB and WBFS Manager is 2.97GB?

Thanks Pakatus!

I've seen that option! But to make it work and remove the update partition from the .wbfs file I need to convert it to .iso first and then back to .wbfs, right?
huh.gif

What about the size of an update partition?
rolleyes.gif

Does anyone have an idea how much space it takes?

Hey All. I just got Super Smash Bros. Brawl and I tried to transfer it from my computer to my external HD, but it is not taking. It started out great with a fast transfer at about 14-15 Mb/s, then after about 3.5 gb into the transfer, it went down to below 1 Mb. I just let it finish out and then the program froze. I restarted the program, and it said that I had nothing on my external HD. I have to restart my computer for it to recognize. After the restart and I open the program, I cannot find the game on the list, as if it was not moved. I have a 160 GB Samsung SATA formatted with a 20 gb Fat32, and the rest is WBFS. Any help would be great.

the 32 bit version do work, but the 64 bit will probably run faster.

It will not let you add more then 500 games because your using a wbfs formatted partition.
This is a limit of the wbfs format and theres nothing this program can do to fix it.

You want more then 500 games on a single partition then you need to use either fat32 or ntfs instead of wbfs.

Try a different version of wii backup manager. Some versions have trouble transferring it.

Also i would recommend using fat32 over ntfs as write support for ntfs is buggy i believe where as fat32 works perfect.

so if i added alot of games to a 2tb hhd that is formated to ntfs and it showed the game name in green after it was added it may not have added it correctly? i have noticed that the games are smaller on the NTFS partition than on the wbfs partition. Also how do you split the wii games so that they can fit on a fat32 formated drive. Thank you for all of the help.

a quick question if I choose keep the game partition I save space about 200mb for each game, does removing the update and other partitions affect gameplay,i mean does it cause any problems, like freezes etc.Is there such a possibility?

The second question is it only removes the update partitions when I transfer the ISO file from my PC hard drive to external drive,is there a chance I can remove the update partition of the games I have already transferred to my external drive. When I choose keep the game partition only the update partitions still stay there
