Sorta saw some previews for it but it never got a whole lot of hype or anything. Plus the Wii version already comes off as a half assed Wii port.
That's exactly what this game is. Gave this game about half an hour; the first level is a barf-colored wasteland and cutscenes are done with oversized, poorly inked/colored images. It's as if they hired whoever draws the incredibly half-assed X-Men drawings for childrens' coloring books to do all the art for the Wii version. It just
looks really bad. Now you'd think "man koshehs such a graphics whore" -- well, you see, when the drabness of the level and the terrible camera is so bad that it actually leads to very confusing dead-ends that aren't obvious until you noticed the weakly-flashing points where you're supposed to climb up.
Oh and I should probably mention that character's mouths don't even move in cutscenes. And when characters are actually interacting and making gestures and all, it's really weird for voices to come out and no mouths moving about in response.
and oh jesus, climbing segments require you to STOP MOVING on the platform, jump STRAIGHT UP and then move accordingly. Any other way and you won't jump high enough to reach the next higher level of jutting grip.
i think i'd like to try the PS3 version, I have a feeling it's more of the same but it probably offers more freedom/better level design/better controls/more everything
i wonder if the PS3 version has subtitles :/
