Will i be shoehorned into a certain weapon class further along? or can i swap whenever? Still having a hard time ti pick between the GS or a faster weapon, or maybe even go Bowgun. Just want to know if i can always just swap whenever i want, or if i get a permanent sort of choice later on!

(Yeah my first real MH game, other then the few hours i've tried the first MH.)

Someone have informations about changing the region of the savefiles from NTSC-U to PAL (if it's possible, how to do it, if the savefiles are considered as cheated) ?

When you say cheaters, do you mean people using cheat codes or downloaded copies?

Doesn't work with USB Loader GX for me...
I have a PAL Wii with 4.1E
Mod chip is Argon..

I already installed IOS37/38 but nothing helped..

All my other games works fine, MHT3 not...

I got it to work, if these result happened to you, then u should be able to do this

Monster Hunter loads in USB GX loader
When you go to start the game (selecting new game)
Screen goes black.

Solution

Download Wanoiko's CIOS 249 rev 19 (Search Google)
there is a CIOS_installer....zip (which jus has the Boot file etc)
then there's CIOS_fullpack.zip file lurking around.

Get both, i think they are Rapidshere

Just install the the ios as 249 select wad 37...
network install or sumthing along those lines.

When i get back home i will update

when you use actual cheats, not usb loaders.

I feel kinda stupid asking, but where do I even find online play? The only thing I can find is Arena mode where I can play with a friend, thats it... Is it only for certain quests?

Wit Wiikey II at least it does. On d2sun it works perfectly too.

Well, even wiikey one is a bit older, i suppose it works perfectly.

US-NTSC Save is not compatible.

Ok i figured out how to convert my US Save to PAL...

I used some rather old tools but it worked for me.

Waninkoko's Savegame Extractor/Installer

1. You need your US Save and a PAL Save on your Wii
2. Launch the Savegame Extractor in HBC and extract both Savegames.
3. On your SD Card should be a folder called "wiisaves".
In there are two folders called "RMHP" (PAL Save) and "RMHE" (US Save).
Copy over the DATAXX files (XX = 00 to 05) from "\RMHE\NOCOPY" to "\RMHP\NOCOPY".
4. Install the PAL Savegame with Savegame Installer.
5. done


If you want to Hex Edit your money for example, this should help (if you know what you're doing)

I have the same problem, HDReady TV and componentcable.

Other than that the game works fine on FlatMii and the little i have played it seems good also

Sadly no. This problem was indicated even before the game was released.

I have a big problem with Monster Hunter Tri on my Wii in 4.2E and i have the original game of Monster Hunter Tri not a copy piracy its a original game and when i go to the village for the mode online i have a error 11602 ???? for me online not work since 4 day i try and error 11607 ? no online mode ?

Somebody help me ?

Sorry for dragging this back up, but can you not get banned doing this? It is techinically modifying data after all.
