Hardware WiFi Crashed 3DS XL

I have a 3DS XL on 4.3. Everytime I enable and attempt to use WiFi my 3DS crashes. This happens if I go to the settings menu and try to setup WiFi, or if I try using the pre-installed Mario Kart game in multi-player mode.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Format. I've never seen this bug before....

Maybe try updating to 4.5 with a retail cart? AC:NL and FE:A are two popular ones that do that.

I found a few posts on Google. The fix is to disconnect and re-seat the wifi card. That worked for me.
