Misc WiFi Connection DLC still possible?

Since the Nintendo WiFi Connection is discontinued for DS and Wii, is there any other methods for getting the content? I'm interested in getting the DLC puzzles for Picross, Professor Layton, and the like.

This I am not sure of, but an idea that i thought of was if its possible, use a method similar to Pokemon Distro carts.

I wonder if anybody that HAS the WiFi Connection DLC for certain games could be able to provide any save files, and if some kind of redirect is possible to trick a game to copy the DLC. I don't claim to understand how this stuff works, but a gerenic thought in the right direction might spark something.

I thought Prof. Layton had AR codes that unlocked the extra puzzles, at least.
