Hacking WiFi capabilities?

I just want to make sure...before I make a suggestion to other people
The wifi capabilities still works for both Slot-1 and Slot-2?

And that most games can connect to other DS without problems (except for downloading games for Slot-2, which requires both NDS to be flashed)?

All I know is that my slot 1 supercard ds One does not allow me to host any of the games on my microsd card. I have to remove the card to download from someone who owns the game, legit.

Here's the skinny. All carts (afaik) can host and join multiplayer games, that are multicart. some games work via download play to send from a card (single cart play). You can joi all. Only the recieving ds must be flashed to enable 100% compat for download play. everything gets on nifi (nintendos wifi thing)
