Misc wifi adaptor question

I was wondering if anyone has taken their wifi usb dongle apart.
if so do you have pictures?

I'd like to see if I can drimmle a little hole in the side of one, and sodder a longer antena on to the dongle's, to give my signal a few more feet. Like maybe a wireless adaptor antenna

I don't know if this would even work.

I may just have to buy myself a new Wifi dongle and take it apart.

Just take some tinfoil and make a rough dish like shape with it, and just slip it over the dongle so the 'dish' of the tinfoil is pointing towards where you normally use your DS.
