Gaming Wierd Vista Icons

inthe corner of some of the user folders a the public folder, there are some little peopl icons. what do they mean, how do i get rid of them and i do not have the user folder or anything in it shared.

help?

That means it's a shared folder. Everyone who uses the computer will have access to that folder as well as people who are on the network if you set the folder sharing option in the network connections to on.
