Hacking Wierd M3/Sakura Starting issue

Well, iv had this flashcart for like 3 months now, and just in the past few days i have been having an issue when i start my DS up, after the black screen that has M3Real in the bottom right, instead of going to the checkdisc screen, the screen stays black and nothing happens. And seems to only fix when i replace my "SYSTEM" folder. So im curious if i maybe have a bad rom? Or maybe i have to reformat my card.

when you unplug your microsd, there might be finger prints on it or it got dirty
usually, cleaning it or eject & re-insert it should solve the problem

Just hold "a" upon startup.

Ok thanks, ill try both, i think it might be the fingerprint thing though. I have been forgetting to wipe it off with a dry cloth lately, and my DS's actualy Slot 1 might be dirty.

I've had the black screen a few times, holding A and re choosing Sakura always fixes it.

Hmm. I had that once. Turned out to be the fact that my Micro actually got fried.

So I just went and bought a new one.

Well yeah, it still works fine when i replace the folder, good thing it only cost me 15 bucks for an 8 gig though, i can replace it pretty easily.

I think its just a little glitch in 1.40
I get the same problem also, but rarely

Just drag and drop the System folder from your pc on to your sd card from when you last downloaded Sakura or use the DSM Movie Encoder if that's what you used to put Sakura on to your card. Not sure if you have to copy your nds folder off your card if you use DSM.
Also it might be the last rom you put on your card so you could try removing that before you do anything else.
