Hacking Wich CFW do you recommend.

Hello, I have a friend who is on FW 4.5 on an o3ds and wants to install a custom firmware, so I want to help him out.
I have Cubic ninja and a gateway card.
However he doesn't live close to me so i can't just install the gateway emunand and let him boot at my place everytime the battery dies.

What do you guys recommend I do? I know there is an MSET exploit I can install to boot pastacfw but I thought this was limited to <4.5 games when using this method. I have not been following the scene since the first release of pasta so i'm not sure what has changed since then.

Please point me in the right direction.

Rxtools 2.6 with mset

you can always downgrade to 4.4 using Gateway right, then from there you can install Mset exploit

I think for Europe 4.5 is good, Gateway downgrades EU systems to 4.5 anyway if i'm correct. (Us systems to 4.4)

Yes it's correct, it downgrades to 4.5.0-8E

Cakes is what I recommend... It's a little hard to install but worth it IMO

go with rxTools with mset its way easier.
