Does anybody know how big is 3DS transfer usage during playing games (Street fighter IV for example). I travel a lot at work and sometimes just cant connect to any wi-fi, so i use my HTC HD2 as a wi-fi router. But i got some limits from my phone operator using it this way, and when i will step trough it i will pay big amounts, what i would like to avoid :-P

If any of you knows something, I will be grateful for information. Cheers [IMG]

Like anything else it's going to vary... Both from game to game and even depending on what you're doing.

For example, we can be sure that spot pass IN GENERAL won't take too much bandwidth... but there will be times when there are either game updates/features/DLC or a system menu update where the data will spike dramatically.

Likewise when playing a game like Street Fighter online there may not be a whole lot of data going at once, but it will probably add up over time very quickly.

So if you were looking for a simple answer, there is none. I do believe, however, that there are programs you can get for Android that will monitor your internet bandwidth and may be worth the investment if you plan on using your 3DS through your phone.

Unfortunetly my htc runs on windows mobile, but i had that kind of app before, to be honest it wasnt very precise when it goes about wi-fi router. I know there is no simple answer, i have 2gb of transfer each month and when ill use it i will pay for every single kb. I hope 2gb will be enought (using my limit for getting e-mails, for surfing sometimes etc) [IMG] We will see [IMG]

    Thanks for info Koji2009 [IMG]
