Hacking Why Spoof and can it be undone?

I'm trying to get Wii Sports Club to work with Mii Maker but everything is greyed out. I am wondering if I spoof to 5.5.1 if I can login with a Nintendo Network ID and get it working?

Why should or should I not spoof?

Can it be undone?

(I'm running 5.3.2)

Have you tried the SSB method instead?

Cannot undo the spoof once you have done it. At least not without an IOSU. The reason to spoof is so that you can get online with older version of firmware.

If you're waiting for a kernel exploit for 5.5.1: Don't! It's not worth it.
If a kernel exploit is going to be released, I'm sure it will be compatible with the latest firmware.

However if he spoofs to 5.5.1 he can use online functionality while still retaining back up loading.

I haven't tested sports yet, but also I want to keep my 5.3.2 Wii u offline to avoid an accidental "5.5.2 or 6.0.0" update once Nintendo get their butts in gear.

I believe it can be undone by updating (and there is no reason you would want to undo the spoof without updating, there are no downsides to having the spoof installed)

Loadiine doesn't support online playing/Access in the backups, so there's no point for you to spoof if to 5.5.1, you can't login to your ID or playing online or anything like that in the backups
Edit: to make it more clear ( you'll benefit from spoofing in games you bought not the backups)

4. The only way I know is to update to the version you are spoofing (or higher)

Okay YOU, along with D-Jay, need to shut your stinkin' traps before someone does something stupid. He obviously wants to spoof to use legit services, OF COURSE this is entirely possible. His primary concern is not being able to "unspoof." I also wrestled with "should I, or shouldn't I?" But helpful people like "The Real Jdbye" convinced me that there are no downsides to spoofing (so far, this is 100% accurate.)

He said in mii maker mode, is that legit copy of the game ??!!

Well let me tell you -loadiine does not have online acess so even if your wiiu was spoofed to 5.5.1 a loadiine game cant acess online regardless.

Spoof is just so you can play original cds/eshop downloads online or on a lowest fw, for intance with 5.5.1 spoof on a 5.3.2 console you can play games that require 5.4.0 or 5.5.0 fw and play them online after you installed the latest game update with the wup installer.

3- yes actualy if you dont have your wiiu with tubehax or other update blocker even by being spoofed you will update to 5.5.1 and loose all the good kernel stuff so you still need to keep stuff blocked.

several people(mostly noobs) when the 5.5.0 spoof came around they spoofed and then tough that they could download game updates normaly without using the wup installer to do so so they disabled their update protection and letted the game update of course before a agme update starts the game will update the console fw and then download the game update file and i know of at least 3 people that spoofed and then took out the protection and ended up on real 5.5.0 lol.

of course it is or else you could download game updates normaly instead of needing the wup installer.Same for e shop acess you need to use the nnu patcher becuase the console knows something is off .
