why not for Japan?

pokemon vc has been released in last weekend. but I have a question.
WHY NINTENDO DID NOT RELEASE COLORED PIKACHU VERSION IN JAPAN?

Because they did not want to. You can always do a cover swap (I'm sure it works for 2ds to.) Just buy a japan 2ds and cover swap it with an imported yellow 2ds. I'm also upset that the US didn't get yellow either.
