Why is'nt FileTrip, FileTemp or something?

FileTemp makes no sense and just scares people into thinking the files are going to be there temporarily aka GBAtemp 2002.

Also if they call GBAtemp that then they will be afraid that it's a temporary GBA.

Therefore, it should be called "3DSperm"

FileTrip was registered before FileTemp, so it was probably what prowler said.

I like FileTrip better, but FileTemp would have stuck with the 'Temp scheme.

Well shoptemp temporarily sold flashcarts and stuff, GBAtemp temporarily had gba roms on it, so filetemp would only temporarily have our files on

That is 100% irrelevant. The name was not decided on as "ShopTemp" because it was going to be temporary - the name was decided to fit in with "GBATemp" (the name of which was chosen due to the temporary nature of the original content of the site). Seeing as we are talking about naming here, it is irrelevant to point out that ShopTemp ultimately failed in its original purpose. That is not why the name was chosen.
