I don't know why my AK2i is crashing. Here are some tidbits that may be helpful:

- Playing on a DSi with 1.4.1E
- I use an original AK2i with a Sandisk Class 2 4GB SDHC
- I don't play it that much
- I soft-reset almost everytime (not the "SR to get shinies", I meant soft-resetting when I want to play a different game)
- The most recent game that I have experienced freezing is Pokemon White
- Pokemon White uses the English patch without the Rudolph fix
- AAP is enabled on the ROM (not enabled globally) and 2 save files are being shared in the same ROM (save slot 1 and 2)
- I backup all my saves regularly (.bak files)
I'm kinda guessing it's because of the save slot. Now my flashcart is not really loose but I remember putting it on my desk one time for a bathroom break and when I opened it, it froze. It only happened one time.

Thanks :)

My Acekard does something similar! It has to do with the imperfections in the design. The copper leads on the cartridge do not always stay connected with the system. I heard that if you were to slide a sheet of cut paper UNDER the contacts to raise the circuit board up a bit it helps the problem but I don't want to do such a thing.

If this becomes a problem you can always buy another acekard 2i from shop-temp. I think the ones that are being sold now do not suffer from the same problem but I am not entirely sure.

Here are some other possible problems;

The MicroSD is losing formatting, use the Panasonic SD formatter to reformat the MicroSD card.

You could be using way to many cheat codes.

You may need to re-seat your microSD or...

You may need to re-seat your microSD or check the copper leads on the MicroSD to make sure that they are free of debris.
