I've been searching around for a good bit and couldn't really find an answer to this. I've seen posts about how to inject roms, but am a bit lost as to why people would want to inject it in the first place? What benefit does it have over a real scene release VC title exactly?

Cheers!

Yeah, that's the only reason people inject. Problem is, some of the older injections around don't have proper save functions, banners or multiplayer support. They are starting to come out in the professional quality you'd expect from a proper VC release though.

Worst thing when injecting a game - you can't change button-config.

ISS 98 for N64 (injected to Pokemon Snap) is unplayable because you need to use the right analog stick (c-buttons) on the gamecube pad, no Y, X, L or R button support.
.... come on! .....

anything is changeable, you must only need to know how
to do a button edit you need to open 00000001.APP find the buttons and edit them, it's not easy, but after some researching it should be possible.

Thanks for the kind information! I was wondering why there were a couple reference games for injections and why they are the ones they are. This is quite informative.. So this means I won't be able to have the banner's on them working? I suppose Paradox's solution seems to fit this bill (or soon will).
