Gaming why i cannot install chrome on my windows 10?

i try to download chrome setup for the newer versions. and i open chrome setup.exe. but nothing, chrome still cant install on my laptop.

Did you restart the PC? Maybe there is something on your pc preventing it from running. Make sure you right click and run as admin, also check task bar and close anything that seem like a installer related to chrome and try again. if you have a program like 7-zip, you can extract the files from the exe into a directory on the system, it bypass the install process that the exe uses. Either that or use safe mode boot maybe.

interesting would be "what kind of Windows 10 do you have installed?" there is the so called Windows 10 S version which lets you only install trough the app store ...

Are you Admin on your system ?

ever looked into the taskmanager if the process is running in the background ?

Winrar is better

So what you'll want to do is download a program called winrar, after it installs right click on your chrome exe file. There should be something that says open with, click on that and you should see winrar pop up. All you want to do is click the button that says "Extract" and than click ok. You are done

right click but i cant find 'open with'. but i was install winrar on my windows.
