Hello, I am new to this site and the "homebrew" scene. I used to be really into jailbreaking my ipod touch, but haven't done that in years - plus it was a lot simpler than what I am experiencing with the switch. I have deepsea 2.3 running using Hetake 5.5.7. I even (think) I set up emuMMC correctly.

Everything seems to work just fine except for actual games. Whether it be cartridge or one I have officially downloaded, I get an error (code: 2002-1002) after trying to launch the game and it never launches. I have noticed that if I launch the game through any account on my switch other than my main, they work fine. This isn't really a solution though as the other accounts don't have my saves on them.

Is there something I could do to fix this issue? Has anyone come across this before?

I have been researching for quite some time and have tried turning autonogc off and on but nothing works.

You can use checkpoint to backup and restore savegames across different accounts.
Did you add the Hekate sigpatches?
Note that Hekate and Atmosphere (booting with Fusee) have their own sigpatches and that the sigpatches must be in the right folder.
