why does everybody hate Jim Sterling?

personally i find him to be just another game journalist that i could agree or disagree with on many topics, then again i've noticed that he's garnered a lot more hate then your average game journalist, is it simply because of his views or something else that we should know, any thoughts?

Jim Sterling is actively, aggressively obnoxious. It's his shtick, sure, but being annoying on purpose is still being annoying.

And this is coming from someone who, on a lot of topics, agrees with the man. He has some really good points and arguments - too bad he has a habit of delivering them in the most off putting way possible.
