Not any clone... though it's likely that he could get it working on many/most. But he isn't going to support a card that doesn't contribute in some way which is why it's pretty much been up to the teams to ask go to him about it.
Alternatively, it would be just as easy for a team to take the Wood source and make it work on their card. I think there was one group who did, but didn't bother releasing the source code for it and they only had one release.
