So I'm not too sure about what I'm doing or how to homebrew properly on my dsi. I want to play gba rom hacks like the pokemon hacks and stuff. When I load them on gbarunner2 it shows the gameboy screen and then goes white and stops working. Normal roms such as fire red and stuff work properly. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.

Maybe they're incompatible with Gbarunner2?
The software is not compatible with every gba game you know..

I'm trying to play roms too, when i start up a gba rom, i too just get a white screen as well
and before anyone asks, yes, they are on the list as compatible, and no, they're not rom hacks.

In Twilight Settings, nds-bootstrap settings, Load Bootloader, - set to "Thru NDS-bs"

GBA games should boot normally now.

It works fine for me with "Direct" though. "Thru nds-bs" has been the default setting in prior versions, before it got changed to "Direct."
Make sure TWiLight Menu++ is up to date.

I did the custom firmware like 2 days ago and got the twilight directly from the link on the websites guide which was from the
https://dsi.cfw.guide/ . It was from github so pretty sure it was the latest.

Also no gba game would boot at all on my dsi using the twilight menu after following the guide and I couldn't find any help online but that one change I posted let them boot for whatever reason.

I updated to latest firmware via the dsi internet connection before modding, and did so with the camera unlaunch method.

Cheers.
