I was thinking in buying a Sky3DS, but I'm not sure which model to get. Obviously the blue button one doesn't have the 10 game limit, but the red button one is cheaper, and the limit can be bypassed. However, I'm not sure how hard or inconvenient it's to bypass. Would you say that paying the extra price for the blue button model is worth it?

Bypassing that limit's a bit janky, I wouldn't bother at all.

Go the blue button for sure, what you don't save in money you'll save in time not screwing around.

How much of a saving is there in it for you to even consider this? From what I've seen it's usually £5. GO for the newer revision with the blue button.

Well, I see no reseller for Argentina in the Sky3DS page. Do you people know of any resellers that ship worldwide?

Check out YeahGeek...

http://www.yeahgeek.com/buy-new-blu...shcard-for-nintendo-3ds-new3ds-2ds-p-990.html

The blue button version is for $85 US.

They have cheap Registered International Airmail shipping, which will take at least 2 to 4 weeks but you can track it online.

OR

You also have an option of choosing a costlier but faster shipping.

PS: I don't know why but YeahGeek website has been opening pretty weirdly since past 3 to 4 days now. I don't know if it's just me or something's wrong with the website.

Weird, I can't find Gateway on it. Am just looking for the cheapest option of ordering a Gateway.

Edit:
Lol, here's one Sky3DS at $65.

Although I have ZERO experience with Ali Express. Am just posting link because tekwarfare posted it. Order at your own risk.

It's meant to be a reputable site. Notice how they don't mention Sky3DS once on the page; I think they don't explicitly name the product so they can continue selling it so you're unlikely to find gateway by searching. If they do have it then you'll just have to manually browse, I have tried but I couldn't find it.

Thank you for your responses! I think I'll be holding off on buying it for now and see what happens on the scene. But now I know nice places to order 3DS stuff online. And if I end up getting it, your suggestions will save me a lot of money :)

Blue button. All the way.

BUT there's a catch... it's not unlimited. Blue button can only have 31 games per mSD card. You can have as many mSD cards with 31 games on it, but only 31 per mSD. So don't get more than 32GB MicroSD cards. You CAN trim the .3DS ROM files to fit 31 games onto your 32GB mSD, but I doubt you'll need to.

Just get Blue button. No need to patch the Red Button.

You shouldn't have to pay more than $100 USD for Sky3DS Blue Button. Outside of US... might cost you.

sad im having to buy sky3ds to use my gateway lol

No it's not. Once you use Sky3DS to install GW you get to ROM dump and use private headers on Sky3DS.

NOW YOU CAN SHARE!!!! No really... you can. And no Ban Hammers. Just don't play both at the same time until you change GW headers to CIA (which don't use headers).

Then you can share the Sky3DS to let friends play copies of your games fully unlocked while you play CIAs on your system.

And they can use it no matter if old or new 3DSXL!!!

Really great for families with multiple systems. You have one master system with GW and then share Sky3DS amongst the rest!

No more having to use UPlay or Demos for multiplayer... (limited content choices)

So the Sky3DS actually becomes really useful! You can also try games you don't own and see if you might like to buy them and then rip the headers from the private/official one.

Just don't use Sky3DS online with games you don't have headers for. Or you'll get the Ban Hammer.

$90 for the safety glasses on Zenni, vs my daily wear glasses were >$200 after insurance
