hello,
Sorry but I know there are a lot of threads as far as which card to get. After reading a good portion of them they go back and forth between R4i (gold, delux, rts, etc) and acerkart and talking about timebomb issues.

All I'm looking at doing is getting a cart that allows to play nes, snes, gba games and possibly 3ds games.

Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope.

first off this should be in the 3ds section considering you are also asking for 3ds games. Are you gonna use this cart on a ds or a 3ds? it changes a lot of things.

yeah I should have put it in the 3ds forum.. I'm using a 2ds Xl

if you are looking for all the above you mentioned you would need to go for the ds two. for some reason i can't find it on nds-cart

Just go the custom firmware route, that'll get you just about everything you want (except SNES) and then just get an R4i Gold for DS games.

Isn't that no longer in production? Also, the SNES emulation wasn't too great last I heard.

yeah not the ds two but the super card ds two. Cfw route will get you the games with all emulation including snes. If you want cfw get the r4i gold rts and follow this https://3ds.guide/

ok, thanks looking at the R4 gold RTS. is there any benefit to getting the dual core version?
The real benefit is that you can use ntrboot with that cart so it's a neat package because of the playable ds games and you can hack you're 3ds with it

there is 1 million different models of the r4. They are literally clones of clones of clones of clones

This is the model you get. NO EXCEPTIONS
