Hardware Which Notebook to get?

Hey,

so I'm thinking about buying a new notebook and narrowed it down to two options. Both of them are Acer Aspire e5 774g models. But they are slightly different and I'm on the fence now on which one to get.

So the main differences:

1st one :
Intel i5 62000U
12 gb Ram
Geforce GTX 950m

2nd one:
Intel i5 72000U
8 gb Ram
Geforce GT 940mx (gddr5)

So what do you guys think, which one is the faster/better one?
Does the increased Ram in the 1st one make up for the slower processor?
Which GPU is the better one (since I only find stuff about the 940mx gddr3 version)?

The former is a better deal.
Skylake to kabylake doesn't warrant a justifiable reason to choose the 940mx over the gtx950
