it is still affordable right now though, BUT .

mein freund , i looked up the link from your amazon de , you can get the 200gb for MUCH less, only around 60Euros, whereas the 256gb one is over 130Euros.

man ist doch nicht so bloed und kauft das was sehr wenig mehr GBs hat !

get the 200GB from your amazon de site, it is fantastic.
die hauptsache ist das es U1 ist, steht fuer ultraspeed Something.

class 10 , U1 is basically recommended for the switch, BUY AWAY!

Thx I think I will do this. Since for that I can get 400 GB with two cards and pay less than a 256 gb card. Crazy prices.....

What's funny is that there are people that think SanDisk is garbage.

As someone who is currently running both? They're both fine. Got a 256GB Samsung in my Switch now. No issues.

yes exactly, you could get 2 of the 200gbs for less than that price of the 256gb.

(200gb sollte genuegen, there will not be an enormous amoung of games you will be itching to play dude,and alot of them will be around 2-10gb only, unless you want to fill your switch with a fifty-hundred of games, you will not need more than 200gb).

the only mSD's that are trash are those fake ones , they sell em here where i live everywhere and most of them are waste of buck.
safest way to buy an mSD is from Amazon imo.

checking the customer review feedback, and you will know if they are fake or not i guess.
i have high hopes for the samsung sandisk that i ordered a while back.

i usually only find 64gb mSD (original ones) here.
needed something bigger, so went for the 200gb.

I bought the samsung 128Go U3 (50€), and so far I'm satisfied.
I won't buy a lot of eshop games (I prefer cartridge version), so I went with 128.
I didn't test write speed.

also, 256 cost more than 2x128

Me too. I prefer physical version (Cartidge version as you called it). No eShop games unless can't have a physical version then get it.

Both of them offer similar reads (sequential and random reads, which are more important than writes).
More than 90MB/s.

The thing is that normally U3 cards have more consistent speed, because it can utilize the UHS bus.
Class 10 cards can only utilize HS bus.
Additionally, class 10 means minimum 10MB/s and U3 min 30MB/s

*UHS: Ultra high speed
*HS: High speed
*U1/U3/I/II: The U# show the speed class of UHS bus utilization. The roman I/II show the UHS bus revision.
*O10: Number in a circles shows the speed class of HS bus utilization.

Switch's max speed is U3 on UHS-I (90MB/s). If you put a UHS-II card, it will fallback to UHS-I bus

Normally I would go with Sandisk, but with these two, I would certaintly go with Samsung's offer. Cheaper and more consistent performance.
