    Can't use cheats

I wish YSMenu had support for loading NES/SNES/GB/GBC ROMs directly like Moonshell does with extensions.

It does if you have the right emulators in the right folder. It uses Emulators made for the GBA so you'll need a Slot-2 Expansion.

Holding down B while the ROM loads will boot YSMenu instead of the game so you can use cheats.

can this setting play some "problematic" games (bowser's inside story, COP, might and magic) with cheats also?

    Cheats are another story.
They should work, but I've seen a few posts with people having issues with cheats, so you'll have to try them yourself.

I can confirm C.O.P. The Recruit (US) and Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes (US) work as well.

My question is What does YSMenu merged with DSTT v1.17a12 have over DSTT v1.17a12?
I only ask as my R4 clone is actually a DSTT clone and can run TTMenu as a secondary menu.

Well, I once was able to try a DSTT (for like a day) and maybe ysmenu has a quicker file browser (if there are a lot of files...an amount that very few would have anyways)? Oh, and of course, ysmenu is like the R4 menu xD (which can be either totally awesome, or totally lame depending on your standpoint of the R4).

O.K. I have tried both on my R4i SDHC (from R4i-SDHC.com). I personally like the TTMenu over YSMenu. The only problem is having two menus is rather redundant. The official firmware for this card is slightly behind DSTT v1.17a12 so the TTmenu is the superior choice. If you are familiar with this card you know you have a choice between "Games," "Multimedia," and "Config." I can get TT or YS menu running from the "Multimedia" button but what I want is either TT or YS Menu from the "Game" button and retain Moonshell as the "Multimedia" button. I would settle for either menu as a default and use it to launch Moonshell from a .nds file or another way to launch .dpg, Mp3, or other media.
