Hi,
I read reviews for Wii's hacks but i cant decide.
1-plz tell me the pros and cons of each one, one of my main concerns is GC games, i want them to be playable at good conditions without glitches.
2-and another thing, IF I GET the Super Paper Mario and update my Wii, will i be able to use modchip AFTERWARDS?
3- Does these "updatable" chips really work? i mean do they really update and increase functionality or their just like the other non-updatable ones and their update doesnt REALLY work.

thnx.

wiikey has problems with LOTS of gamecube games (backups and originals).
an update was promised since ever but not released.
go for any other modchip, wiinja deluxe or cyclowiz (needs a switch intalled for updating) or one of the opensource mods, they all do the same.
stay away from wiikey if you want to play cube games.

I haven't heard that it has problems with lots, just streaming audio issues for the two dozen or so games that utilize that feature.

I personally use the open source mods that you put on a 12F629 or similar 8-pin chip. These are basically WiiFree and yaosm. I personally use yaosm because the gamecube functions better for me using that code instead of WiiFree.

If you have issues with streaming audio you can patch the iso with a tool to make that work better.

Here is the official support forum for yaosm: http://psx-scene.com/forums/yaosm/

Good luck!
