meh its not terrible but the fps for starcraft 2 sucks and it can lag terribly sometimes, most other games run fine on optimum settings though.

SC2 is barely different from SC1, just play the original

Actually tried that the other day, it felt just soo clunky w/o out all the automated way points and so on.

ATI Radeon HD 5670

IceQ version is on Tigerdirect for $80. Runs so cold that it cools my other components. Great for performance, even if it's shoved up against a wall under a desk.

BTW, it runs Dolphin on any game at MAX (and I mean MAX) settings, where my Core i3 (3.06GHz) has become the bottleneck! And that's on UBUNTU!

EDIT: FYI, Ubuntu has to use OpenGL, which is crippled on ATI cards. The 5670 overpowers that with raw speed!

I wonder, who are you recommending that graphics card to? It's already been made clear that the OP has a laptop, hence unable to upgrade his graphics.
