Gaming Which games should I get?

Soo I got a kind-of-gaming laptop a while ago (Lenovo IdeaPad Y560) and the only thing I've been playing is an MMORPG and it already bored me.

I don't like shooters where you just, um, shoot (like CoD. friggen CoD) and I can take in another online/offline RPG if it doesn't have tons of grinding.

So what do I get?

btw I already read this topic about essential games, and all the games in the first two groups I've played and loved them OR they're shooters and Im not interested. Too-franctic shoters stress me out and un-frantic shooters bore me. Like that game Half-Life 2? I was always either too bored or too stressed out to even listen to the story, which I've heard is friggen awesome

well there is Oblivion which is awesome (and mods are fun)
I honestly don't play many pc rpgs that arn't shooters
I do like Diablo and I play other games in that Genre like Titan Quest and Torchlight

Cave Story.
Oniken.

Not exactly state-of-the-art, but they are great games nonetheless.

And as a last resort, you could use Dolphin and a copy of Brawl.

Yeah I think I'll try Cave Story... but I have an actual Wii, so no need to play Brawl (my favorite game... ever!!) using an emu.

But is there anythign that isnt RPG or shooter? I mean I know they're the popular stuff, but there must be something else :S

Real time strategy? Platformer? Puzzler? 4X space simulation? Flight sims? THE sims?

There are many games... Just open your eyes and start trying them out.

else, there's always tomb raider, prince of persia, Rayman, Batman:Arkham Asylum if you haven't played them on console.

assassins creed aint rpg or shooter and is a good game(you need a powerful pc though)
as old as they are the command and conquer games are good pc games
