Here's the situation:

I have a 3DS with firmware 2.1.0-4U. I have an EZ Flash Vi but when I tried to update to the 106A Firmware, it bricked(I did it right and everything on a DSi XL with 1.4.1.)

So, now I need a new flashcard. I've been wanting Acekard 2i for a while, but I also read that Supercard DSTwo includes a GBA and SNES emulator which would be nice.

But, here's the thing: Which one should I buy? I want one with the best compatibility and which is updated quicker. I know about AKAIO and plan to use it, but I was never really hands on with it.

Which is the best one for my 3DS and will serve me better in the long run?

If you have enough money get a supercard, both acekard and supercard got a perfect compatility but supercard got more features.

Acekard. If you just want to go with playing DS games, go with Acekard. It's cheap and reliable.$12.
The DSTWO, it's a more powerful flashcart with a GBA Emulator and such, but it's $35.
OR, get a R4i Gold 3DS. It has wood support. Just sayin.

It all depends all on needs as others have stated. I got the AK2i, I can emulate GBA games on my PSP. If you're interested in other emulations such as GBA and SNES, then you may opt for the DSTWO.

Okay, but say if Nintendo makes another update to block flashcarts again, which card would get updated first?
They both get updated quickly, maybe team supercard gets it out a day/two early compared to the Acekard team. It doesn't really make a difference. Both are active teams.

It's like he said. But Wood R4 seems to be a quick updater.

WoodR4 doesn't update to bypass 3DS firmware, just to bypass DS AP

That's true. I'm talking about bypassing 3DS Firmware. Anyways, for the games it plays(DS, GBA, and SNES), does the Supercard DSTwo automatically backup the save files or must you do that manually? Also, for the SNES emulator built in, are there compatibility issues? More so, I'm asking about Super Mario RPG, Mega Man X2 and X3, Yoshi's Island, and Kirby's Superstar.

My understanding is that while most of those games would be playable, they'd probably run slow since they all contain additional coprocessor chips. Check the Supercard forum for some more info on that.

DS2 and acekard are the best flashcard for 3ds console, and if you do not want to pay much on a flashcard, you can get a Cheap ace3ds card, thoght it is a new flashcard, but it got many features on the other hand it is much cheaper than any other flashcard,as the price is under $10,and more, the ace3ds card firmware update quicker too....
