Wow this poll is full of bias. Based on gui alone, not features, Sakura is the clear winner. Just the smooth scrolling and the fading effects makes it a winner.
And I exert no bias because I actually own a dstwo, an acekard, and a m3.
Lol, I dislike you already (jk). Some people don't like how the M3Sakura's GUI is laid out (I have no explanation as to why, since I use moonshell2 which is just that many times better than the M3Sakura GUI, though same layout). If I had to say anything, Moonshell2 would be the 'clear winner' based on your GUI preferences (M3Sakura was originally from Moonshell2...though something happened between Moonlight and the M3 team...and so Moonlight parted ways and continued working on Moonshell2).
And I exert full bias because I still like moonshell2 even after looking via video reviews at Acekards (I have an AK2i =D), R4/YSMenu/CycloDS (they all have a kind of restricted layout, but meh sometimes simplicity reigns...and it isn't like they are slow GUI-wise), DSTT (the layout I don't like, but speed is decent if there aren't a ton of files), Touchpod is kind of ok...(I hate the way the main screen looks though), iPlayer, and various other cards that I feel aren't that important anyways (no offense intended, but I've lived with an R4 for too long, so I tend to look deeply at the popular carts).
Oh, and I find the DSTwo's GUI to be fairly smexy...although it doesn't have enough flexibility as what I would like function-wise (...I'm picky...)

Why are you doing a moonshell2 vs. sakura thing? They're the same option if you would look at the poll.

Also I'd like it to be noted that Sakura was made before Moonshell2.

@theplasmastorm: I have all three two but I was really leaning towards the dstwo or akaio. The only thing that stopped me was that they didn't have exact scrolling like in Sakura. If they did I would vote for them.

The appearance of the Firmware depends on the creativity of the people who make the skins for it.
Other than that all the firmwares almost look the same with tiny differences.

Um...no. I think you've only been using carts with the R4 type menu.

Have you used Sakura/AKAIO/EOS?

DSTWO's EOS and DSCovered are the best IMHO.

I voted: AKAIO / CycloDS / Homebrew (DSCovered)
I use AKAIO on my primary MSD card because it has over 60 ROMs/Homebrews and I love the skins I've made for it. I use DSCovered on my second MSD card for games that are 'safe' for other people to play, so I can share my DS without worrying about my RPG's save files or other configurations. DSCovered is really the best interface for sharing a DS with a child or novice in my opinion. Seeing the whole cover of each game instead of an icon + a title/filename only is so great for that purpose.

I also voted for CycloDS because, I'm a part of the NDSthemes community and I've seen some amazing things on CycloDS that would just not look right on anything else except a very basic port to the ordinary R4-style UI. I can't use a Cyclo myself though because I'm on an XL and it's rather expensive -.-
