Gaming Where to buy a wireless GCN controller?

I know Wavebirds are discontinued so I was wondering what other wireless GCN alternatives are there that would be recommended? and where could I buy them? (I live in Canada so I dont have to buy something from an American site and pay more than the price of the controller just for shipping) Thanks.

Not sure where you can buy them but try to stay away from 3rd party one's. If necessary, buy one of the new GC controllers with the longer chord.

so reckon anyone could lemme know where i could get one too if they know.


also dont get the madcats controller, the A buton gets stuk inside, the c stick breaks randomly

They got used ones starting at a little over $20 I bought one with a missing battery cover a while back, and it works great, because the batteries are in there pretty tight, and don't fall out.

I would highly recommend trying to buy a wavebird second hand, it may be a bit pricey these days, but it really is the only wireless GC controller worth owning.

nintendo are silly really not re-releasing the wavebird, they would sell really well IMO

That doesn't really look like a GC controller...
I saw it in the stores too, but I don't think it will be very handy when playing GC games..

I agree, I would not even try that.....
Buy the controller at a local game store where they sell used stuff like Gamestop, not sure if theres one in UK

I would not suggest getting that for GC games as most controllers that plug into the GC ports are designed to work with the virtual console.

FYI-this is a 3rd party controller for Wii to play gamecube game not sure if it support VC.
It operate the same way as a wavebird. It wireless.. So i assume it support whatever wavebird support.
Or what about shockwave?? How it compare to the bulky wavebird??
