Where are torrents stored?

When you seed a torrent, where is it being uploaded to?

Well, when you seed you seed from your own computer and you upload it to the other downloaders (peers)!

For the second part, I don't know!

What if no one's download it at the time, where does the upload go?

If i am not mistaken, this is a P2P connection ie. it is transferred directly from one computer (peer) to another without a server in the middle.
Therefore files are exchanged between computers only when a connection is established meaning u only send a torrent that contains information about the download package (source,size,file etc) while the actual files are only at your computer in the beginning and nowhere else

For the second answer, its really easy actually, just befriend a mod/admin

if nobody downloads or seeds you won't get it. like old torrents have many times no seeds left so you'll need to find it elsewhere.

a person who seeds a torrent sits and waits for someone else to come along and download it from them.
