Until now, the only thing we’ve got on Switch 2 is a small ROP userland exploit.
Cool to see this so early, but it’s nothing crazy, no kernel access, no CFW, just some custom graphics in user space.
The kernel is a whole different thing. You need a deeper hole in the OS or drivers, and that’s way harder to pull off. Could be months, could be years, we don't really know yet.
So… when do you guys think we’ll actually see the first real kernel exploit for Switch 2?
