This problem happens on the O3ds and Im sure it happens on the N3ds, where you cant install CIA files on cards bigger than 64 GB. Ive read that you can resize the 128 card to 89 or 90 and it will work... But that defeats the entire purpose... Im running out of space..

Is it possible to fix this?

One other user suggest just adding a useless folder and putting a bunch of data in there [I just used a bunch of .3ds files] But I still ran into the problem of "Invalid Cia" though I think its mostly cause the card I had was faulty.~

The problem is not that BBM can't read 128GB sd card, but it is that BBM can't read sd card that has more than 100GB of free space left (dunno why).
So if you transfer your 64GB into your 128GB sd card you should be fine.
But seriously, do you really need so much space? I wonder if you finish all your games.

I need the space.... im working on a bunch of games right now. RE Revelations... Ocarina of time... Pokemon OR..Tomodachi.. etc..

and new games will me coming out... I just like to have them there...

poor kid with only 99gb of games to play :(

what i would do is, install 64gb of games, copy the 3DS folder to your PC. Then install the other 64GB of games and then merge both folders into a single one.
I have no idea if that would work

Imagine you could just pad your sd with a dummy file if your free space is over 100gb, doesn't solve op's problem but nice to know

Hey, some people want to get what they pay for. I dont want to give up 30 gigs in limbo.. thats just me.

Well personally I only play 2 or 3 games at the same time, so 32GB is more than enough for me.

Yes, for example put 30 GB of cia files, install them, then remove the cias file works fine. :)

I don't understand how some of you can fill up large SD cards. I hit the title limit before I can fill mine up.

I am slowly converting my .3ds games and saves to cia files only because it seems that n3ds exclusive titles so far can not be installed as cia files and I need to make room
How many n3ds exclusives will be release in the next year?

If your card is formatted to only display ~80-90 gb and its getting full, just expand the storage to all 128 gb. If you really have more than 60 gigs filled, devmenu will only display the free space you have less which will be >128 gb so it won't crash. Ya feel me? I did the same thing.
