So here's the deal. I've had my ds lite since about April/May and the touch screen has many many light, little, but noticeable scratches on the touch screen from playing planet puzzle league.

1) Is there anyway to somehow repair it to a degree with a solution or wash method?
2) My stylus feels it "catches" on the touch screen from time to time. Is that my stylus or my screen? Would changing the stylus really make a difference?

Any help is appreciated, I'm trying to avoid touch screen games right now because I'm so paranoid of destroying my unit

I would but the only ones that my local shops sell are apparently crap according to the internet. And buying it online would be a waste of time and money because I had to hound them just to get my r4 and the shipping would cost the same as the damn unit

A screen protector should be the first thing you purchase after getting a DS. A crappy screen protector is generally better than none.

A screen protector should be able to cover light scratches to make them unnoticeable. If the stylus is feeling funky (in a bad way), you might want to get it replaced with something which is both of higher quality and more comfortable (Hori Touch Pen things!)

you do realise not all online shops are the same?

Yeah, I can't see anything on my touch screen unless I play in the dark

if the screen is already scratched, its gonna be a bitch getting a screen protector on there without bubbles underneath it.

Not being a retard is much better than owning screen protectors. I've seen borked screens, and they usually belong to snotty brats?
On the other hand, most adults I know who own DSes, Phat or Lite, have got light marks at worst, and they're barely noticeable.

Don't STABSTABSTAB your screen and you should be fine.

Yeah thats what i found. I took off the protectors and i havent put a scratch on the screen yet. I dont really use the stylus very much though.

Agreed. I put one on immediately after I bought my DS. I bought 2 packs of them from ebay for a few bucks, they also sell them at staples. Also usually people replace their stylus when it is lost or broken. There's a guy at work who breaks his stylus in half sometimes, dunno how that happens.. and then we just order more. You can get new stylus when you buy a replacement case for your DS or just buy a pack of stylus. I have enough stylus for DS now because I bought 3 replacement cases and have only used one so far. I think the DS came with 2 stylus, 1 is enough for me lol. I haven't lost any.
