Does anyone know what the the r4 kernel is? and where to download it? Plzzzz, i think i realy need it!

well yes you do need it or your card wont work but we need to know which r4 u have as there are many clones

when you bought it on the box it shud tell you the site on which u download the kernal

um well i dont know hwo to tell you what version it is but it says on it:
R4
revolution for ds (ndsl/nds)

On the box some where in small writing does it not say something like www.r4ds.cn or somet coz you then go on tht site click on downloads and download the latest kernal

Be aware, that is for the R4i and not the R4 as far as I can tell.

If it is an official R4 (not i) then you want - http://www.r4ds.cn/download/r4ds.html

1.18 is the latest R4 kernel.

Yes, R4li (not R4i) actually made a couple of firmwares for the genuine R4 in an abortive attempt to make themselves appear to be somehow related to the official R4 team. Nobody believed them so they stopped. It must be noted that although these firmwares have slightly better ROM compatibility than the official v1.18 they are much more buggy and unstable.

The best firmware for original R4's is still YSMenu0903270000 built with the unofficial DSTT v1.17a07.
