Hello everyone!

It's been a while since I jailbroke my Nintendo Switch, and everything is still working great (even though it’s running a very old version).

One of my friends now wants to buy a Switch for his kids, but I can’t remember which guide I used or how to check whether a console is patched or not. I also don’t remember which models are affected (Switch v1, Lite, OLED, or Switch 2).
He's planning to buy a used Switch to increase the chances of getting a patchable console.

Is there an up-to-date guide that explains which consoles are still patchable and what to look for before buying one?

Find a switch 1 ( non lite or Oled) check its serial number ( boogle search is my switch patched)
if you were in N.ireland ill sell you mine.

Is it possible to jailbreak the OLED version as well?

Also, I remember hearing that the Lite might get a jailbreak, has anything changed with that, or is it still not working?

Also is there a guide somewhere to jailbreak it?

Do a Google search with the terms "switch guide" and you'll find the best one that exists, it should be the first result.

You do not «jailbreak» the switch that is a apple term. You mod it

There are various versions of the switch:
V1 have a hardware bug exploitable you can directly mod by using the USB port.
The versions post 2018 need to install a modchip, those includes switch v2, lite and OLED.

Switch 2 so far have no exploitable way to mod it

Ahh, good to know!
One last question (sorry for being annoying)!😅🙏

If I manage to find a patchable Switch but it’s updated to the latest firmware, can it still be modded?

My current Switch only needs an RCM loader to boot into Atmosphere.
