Hacking Whats the best usb card reader?

Hey guys, I've been getting some errors with my file transferring, specifically I can't transfers files from my microsd (KINGSTON 1GB Japan) to my computer.

I've tried reformatting-didn't work. If you have any suggestions, please do tell me!

So I'm thinking about getting a new card reader-hopefully it will fix the problem.

SanDisk MobileMate SD+ 5-in-1 USB 2.0 Card Reader


What do you guys think about this?

And also what card readers do you guys suggest?

Does your computer have an SD cardslot built in?

I only use the microSD-to-SD adapter that came with my microSD cards and I've never had a problem. Try that if you can.

Otherwise, I've heard good things about the SanDisk product you mention in digital photography forums I visit. However, those users are not using the microSD connection. Only the SD. YMMV

I have been using this one (link) lately with no problems whatsoever (though it only does microSD, it is sdhc compatible and very cheap too).

I HAVE heard good things about the SanDisk card readers.
