Homebrew Question What’s been going on with Dolphin emulation on Switch

The footage you most likely saw was a Linux build of Dolphin running on a Switch booted into Arch Linux. Getting Dolphin to run through the homebrew launcher will take a lot more time and effort due to libraries and other specifics not written yet. The scene will have to mature a bit more before something like that comes around.
 
Biggest obstacle is no 3D acceleration within Horizon yet AFAIK. If that even happens a number of emulators become possible.
 
It runs perfectly on my Nvidia Shield TV, which is just an overclocked Nintendo Switch

Point still stands. Compared to x86, it's a straight port without much platform-specific optimization.

Yeah. Even though it's a switch, it's overclocked. I'd think dolphin will run a little slower.

He's probably referring to the Lakka Dolphin core that's currently being working on...
